Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular Southern California Beach
A helicopter flying over a crowded California beach suddenly began spiraling wildly, finally dropping height and plunging into a line of palm trees as spectators observed.
Videos shared on social media show the aircraft commencing to spiral near the beach then falling in the direction of the border of the beach, where it ends up lodged amidst palms and a staircase close to the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Information
The Huntington Beach fire department said five people were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
Three people on the road were harmed. Information on their injuries were still under review.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.

Officials said the helicopter was associated with an yearly “Cars N Copters” charity gathering planned for the next day.
