Jarell Quansah will sit out England's World Cup qualifying match against Latvia due to injury and the player – who did not take part in the national team's 3-0 friendly win over Wales at Wembley – will return to his team Bayer Leverkusen.
The former Liverpool defender has been a key player in Leverkusen's backline this season but England said no further squad replacements were scheduled for the qualification match in the Latvian capital on Tuesday.
The English side could qualify for next year's FIFA World Cup with two games to spare if they beat their opponents on Tuesday and results elsewhere in Group K go their in their favor.
